BOXPARK SHORTDITCH EAST LONDON E1

We have heard so much about Boxpark Shortditch East London E1, so on the First Sunday of the opening, I went down to check it out and see for myself what all the fuss was about.
My first impression was it’s a cool inner city urban environment and by adding Boxpark, it’s made it a bit more commercial, this was happening in the area anyway such as the opening of Urban Outfitters, just a walk away.
It has a very New York, Soho feel, with its industrial history background.
The Concept of Boxpark is remarkable because I do like the idea of the fashion brands, galleries and cafes being in a shipping container, which might not be ideal for the consumers but the whole layout works nicely together within the area but still has that untreated feeling. It’s a community on its own where you find a bunch of Hip talented creativity light minded people being together.
The Man behind the concept is Roger Wade, creator of Boxfresh the fashion brand and working in partnership with estate developers Hammerson and Ballymore.
So if you are in the area pop by and check it out……………….
